Membership Grade

Student Membership

This grade is for individuals currently enrolled on an IAM qualification or other recognised courses in administrative management.

Cost/Fee: £20.00 p.a.

Affiliate Membership

This grade is for individuals interested in Administrative Management but not yet qualified or working in the field.

Cost/Fee: £35.00 p.a.

Associate Membership (AInstAM)

For professionals with some experience in Administrative Management or a related field, looking to enhance their career prospects.

Cost/Fee: £50.00 p.a.

Member (MInstAM)

This grade is for experienced administrative managers and professionals with significant experience and qualifications.

Cost/Fee: £85.00 p.a.

Fellowship (FInstAM)

Fellowship is the highest grade, awarded to senior professionals with extensive experience and a significant contribution to the field of Administrative Management.

Cost/Fee: £115.00 p.a.

Retired (FInstAM (Rtd) or MinstAM (Rtd))

This level of membership is for individuals who have retired from administration or administrative management and still wish to remain part of our networks.

Cost/Fee: £40.00 p.a.

Students	If you are studying a relevant course or qualification then you may be eligible to join as a student member; if it is one of our accredited courses	£20.00 p.a.
Affiliate	Anyone in an Administrative or Management role, no experience or minimum qualification needed.	£35.00 p.a.
Associate	Level 3+ qualification in a relevant field or two years or more in a role where your duties involve professional administration, and/or Administrative Management.	£50.00 p.a.
Member	Level 4+ qualification in a relevant field or at least three years in a role where your duties involve professional administration, and/or administrative management and a minimum of one year being a management role. Alternatively at least three years in a PA/EA (or similar) role where your duties involve professional administration, and/or Administrative Management and with a minimum of one year working for a senior manager.	£85.00 p.a.
Fellow	Level 6+ qualification in a relevant field or evidence of a significant contribution to the fields of professional administration and/or administrative management and/or business leadership judged by the IAM as commensurate to the grade. Alternatively at ten years in a managerial role where your duties involve professional administration, and/or administrative management and a minimum of three years being in a senior/strategic role. Alternatively at least ten years in a PA/EA (or similar) role where your duties involve professional administration, and/or Administrative Management and with a minimum of three years working to a senior manager.	£115.00 p.a.
Retired	This level of membership is for individuals who have retired from administration or Administrative Management and still wish to remain part of our networks.	£40.00 p.a.
